About Parkdale Assembly of God
Pastor Fred and Pamela Chambers welcome you to Parkdale Assembly, a church that is all about seeking the heart of God. God's heart is filled with love, forgiveness and fulfillment.
At Parkdale we are not entrenched in man-made traditions. Through sincere worship, heart felt prayer and the preaching of God's Word we choose to press into the heart of God and into His purpose.
Pastor Fred has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1984. He and his wife Pamela have served in the ministry for over thirty years.
As children both Fred and Pam experienced the power of God's Spirit which greatly influenced later decisions in their lives. They met in church in 1970; Fred was 23 and Pamela was 18. A few months later they married and soon headed off to Bible college in Waxahacie, Texas.
Fred and Pamela have one son, Jordan who is married to Kelly. Jordan and Kelly have a son, Caleb, born November, 2006 and a daughter Zoe, born July, 2009.
Fred is a veteran who served in the US Army 1966-68. He graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God College in 1977.
