Parkdale Scenes From the 1960's

When Parkdale Church was built there wasn't much in the neighborhood except a few houses and fields, and radio station KTRM. The station was famous for its tall twin towers which stood a few yards from what is now McDonald's famous golden arch.

The first picture is looking towards the freeway from the corner of Odom
and Crow.To the right would be what is now Best Buy, and to the left would
be the mall.

The second picture is looking down Crow Road heading to what is now Folsom.
